A Message from Kylie
Kia Ora Koutou,
Welcome to all of our new families who have started at our kura this term. We welcomed our newest 5 year old learners and their whānau to school on the first day with a whakatau. We are so glad you are part of our kura whānau and we hope you and your child enjoy your time at our kura.
Our newsletter is an important way we keep our school community informed and connected. There are lots of important updates and posts in this edition, so please take the time to read it carefully.

Winter Sports
Winter sports are underway! This year we have 5 hockey teams and 6 netball teams - thank you to the teachers and parents who have volunteered to coach and manage our sports teams. Without your support we would not sports teams. Sport Waikato promote a great message for our young sports people. It is an important message for sport on the sports fields and in the school playground!

Fire Drill
We will be having a fire drill (practice) on Thursday 15 May at 11am.
Hui Nohotahi (Parent Teacher Interviews) have been taking place this week. Teachers really value meeting with you to share your child's progress. Thank you to the 400+ parents who have made bookings to meet with their child's teacher. We appreciate working in partnership with you to support your child's learning journey.
